We're working with the Corporate Tax team of a mid-tier firm based in Central London who are consistently winning new clients and as such are adding new heads to the department. A firm who pride themselves on their technical expertise and a commitment to client satisfaction. 

Role Overview; We are looking for a CTA qualified Corporate Tax Manager with a minimum of 5 years of corporate tax experience in an accounting practice. The successful candidate will manage a blend of compliance and advisory work, providing expert guidance and support to a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee corporate tax compliance processes for a portfolio of clients.
• Provide high-level advisory services on corporate tax matters, including tax planning, restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Review and prepare complex corporate tax returns and computations.
• Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients and manage any enquiries or disputes.
• Mentor and develop junior members of the tax team.
• Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.
• Assist with business development activities and identify opportunities for growth within the tax department.

Qualifications and Experience:

• CTA qualified.
• Minimum of 5 years of corporate tax experience in an accounting practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Proven ability to provide strategic tax advice and manage compliance processes.
• Experience in mentoring and developing junior staff.
