Level 3 Teaching AssistantLocation: Manchester, Greater Manchester, EnglandJob Type: Temporary, Full-TimePrimary Industry: Education and TrainingSalary: £85.00 - £100.00 Per dayBenefits: PAYEQualifications: Level 3 Teaching AssistantSkills: SEN, Reading and Writing Support, Behavioural Management, Classroom Management, KS1, KS2Job Responsibilities:* Provide support to the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and managing student behaviour* Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs (SEN)* Offer reading and writing support to students who require additional assistance* Support the teacher in maintaining classroom discipline and encouraging positive behaviour* Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources* Supervise students during break times and off-site activities* Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to the classroom teacher* Collaborate with other teaching assistants and school staff to create a supportive learning environment* Attend staff meetings and training sessions as requiredRequired Qualifications:* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualificationExperience:* Prior experience as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or similar role* Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)* Knowledge of KS1 and KS2 curriculumKnowledge and Skills:* Strong understanding of SEN support strategies* Proficient in providing reading and writing support* Excellent behavioural management skills* Ability to effectively manage a classroom environment* Familiarity with KS1 and KS2 curriculumPreferred Qualifications:* Additional qualifications in special educational needs (SEN) support* Training in behaviour management techniquesWorking Conditions:* Temporary position with full-time hours* Work within a school setting* Collaborative work environment* Regular interaction with students, teachers, and other school staffAspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
