Are you an experienced Chartered Surveyor with a passion for property management and a drive to excel in a dynamic environment? Peace Recruitment's clients, one of Scotlands leading local authorities are looking for a Estates Surveyor to join the team managing and enhancing the vibrant Blochairn Market portfolio.

As a Markets Estates Surveyor, you'll work closely with the Markets Manager, taking responsibility for navigating complex landlord and tenant matters, driving revenue, and enhancing performance across wholesale and retail operations. This is your chance to lead key estates initiatives, make strategic decisions, and contribute to Glasgow's property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle rent reviews, lease renewals, arrears management, and new lettings.

* Provide professional advice on service charge accounting and budget management.

* Collaborate with stakeholders, including Glasgow City Council and partners, to share expertise and ensure compliance.

* Lead negotiations with tenants and property agents, securing favorable commercial terms.

* Develop and manage service charge budgets with precision and accuracy.

* Monitor performance and deliver insightful reports for senior management.

* Ensure health, safety, and risk management standards are upheld.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

* Degree in a relevant discipline and Chartered Surveyor status (RICS).

* Proven experience in commercial property portfolio management.

* Expertise in lease negotiations and option reports for development opportunities.

* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

* Knowledge of property management systems and current market trends.

* Full driving license and commitment to CPD.

Desirable:

* Experience preparing property option reports for potential developments.

Up to £51k (DOE) + 15% Pension + Package
