Senior Human Resources Business Partner - Waterloo Regional Office UK
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for managing and leading the HR operational function within the UK, ensuring a fit-for-purpose operational HR service is available throughout the region. You will act as a facilitator between the hotel-based HR teams and the regional/corporate HR functions to ensure that projects, initiatives, and programmes are effectively implemented.

What you will be up to as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner:Strategy & Analysis
- Supporting the Regional Director of People & Culture in the annual needs analysis and HR strategic planning processes.
- Working with the Regional and Corporate HR teams and HR Centres of Excellence to ensure that strategies and departmental focuses are effectively aligned and mutually supported.
- Regularly reviewing people metrics and other MI for the region, ensuring evidence-based decision-making.
- Supporting the hotels and HR Business Partners with any projects, company initiatives and change management programmes.
HR Team Leadership
- Managing the HR Business Partners in the UK and on-property HR teams.
- Ensuring effective communication within the HR function.
- Coaching, supporting and organising formal development solutions for the operational HR teams to ensure they develop the core skills required in their roles.
HR Team Development
- Increasing HR capability in the UK through managing the performance and development of the HR Business Partners.
- Managing the HR talent pipeline through HR talent management meetings, focusing on internal development and succession planning.
- Providing support, feedback and development suggestions to the HR Officers.
Tasks
- Acting as an escalation point for technically complex or challenging employee relations issues in conjunction with the Employee Relations Manager.
- Completing the annual hotel People reviews, ensuring appropriate action plans are put in place per hotel based on the findings.
- Monitoring and supporting coordination of hotel-based people activity.
- Supporting ad-hoc regional HR projects.
- Providing direction and support to the wider UK HR team and regional senior leadership team.
