The role - SEN Teaching Assistant

I am working with an Autistic school based in Lambeth that are looking to appoint a new SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team! In this role you will be working with Year 7 students in and out of the class with Autism, you must be an approachable, confident and nurturing person with experience working in school settings. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be required to assist students with their learning while also assisting the class teacher. You must have experience working with challenging behaviour and strong knowledge of working with Autistic children.

This school is based in Lambeth and caters for students aged 11 - 19 years old with Autism, learning difficulties and social and communication needs. They aim for all pupils to leave the school well prepared for the next stage in their education, training or for moving onto employment.
