Salary: £32,151 + Pension + Overtime

6-2 (Friday 1pm finish)

2pm-10pm (1pm-8pm on Friday).

10pm-6am (Friday 8pm-3am).

24 days + stats.

pension - auto-enrolment at 4%, company match up to 5%.

Overtime paid at 1.5 Mon-Sat & 2.0 for Sun.

My client is one of the UK's leading manufacturers within its field of metal processing and associated supplying into a wide variety of industries. The company is a well-established producer, with over 100 years of experience and supplies to the global markets.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies, working on several fast-moving lines, driven by automated machinery. The ideal candidate will come from a medium to heavy engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with a mechanical bias, (but ideally multi-skilled) and have heavy engineering experience. On a day to day basis, you will be working equipment such as hydraulics, pneumatics, grinders, pipework and fabrication. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
