Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Accounts Business Development Manager to join our team. This is a field-based position covering the UK and Ireland for a global leader in security products and software. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building strong relationships with integrators and key accounts within the security industry.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive new business and increase market share within key accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with integrators and key accounts to drive specification sales and revenue growth
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking and industry events
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and risks
  • Establish and maintain a strong network of industry contacts to support business development efforts
Qualifications
  • Previous successful sales experience within the security industry
  • Proven track record of developing new business and managing key accounts
  • Strong understanding of security products and software
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive and results-driven attitude
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel
Day-to-day
  • Identify and prioritize key accounts and new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers and influencers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions for key accounts
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand industry contacts
  • Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities and market trends
  • Travel within the UK and Ireland to meet with clients and industry partners
