About The RoleTo work alongside all guest services departments in a large shopping centre and an operational control room
Assisting in other general duties as requested by Senior Management and working towards streamlining processes.
You will be working on a rotating 4-day-on-4-day-off shift pattern, 20:00 to 08:00, 42 hours per week, on a permanent, full-time basis.
Main Duties:
- Ensuring your SIA license is always with you whilst on duty and any changes to license details are communicated.
- To carry out all procedures as laid out in the Assignment Instruction
- To carry out CCTV observations and support as part of shift pattern
- To lock and unlock the site as and when requested.
- Assist in the emergency evacuation of the centre:mk as required.
- To liaise with emergency services when needed
- Providing guidance and requests to Security officers
- To assist, in the common areas, any retail unit security with any stops they make
- To administer First Aid as and when required & to attend all training and development courses as instructed.
- The ability to identify and escalate matters which require remedial action is critical in this role.
- Liaising and maintaining close working relationships with All Guest Service teams.
- To report any defect and/or incident to the Mall Supervisor and carry out any required investigation.
- Event porterage service to support client requirements.
- To provide holiday and sickness cover as required.
- Any other tasks/activities required.
To be successful in the role, you will need: - Previous experience of working within Security
- Experience of working within both a reactive and proactive environment (essential)
- Operational experience (preferred)
- Door Supervisor SIA
- First Aid
- CCTV licence
- Dual licence
