We are currently looking to recruit for a fantastic business, a worldwide FMCG manufacturer who host 2 UK sites with over 120 group wide. Our client has the backing of a billion-pound business who have net zero debt and a majority of the profits are invested back into the business in the form of new machinery, updated facilities and investment in their staff. Our client is globally renown and nationwide are the number 1 manufacturer in their particular product area and hold over 60% of their market share and supply to some big retailers including mars, nestle and butternut. Our client offers great training including Allan Bradley Robotics, multiskilling courses and various electrical training to bring a mechanical engineer up to speed.

The Role

As a maintenance engineer your role will include, reactive maintenance (breakdowns), planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and working on a range of robotics, mixers, conveyor systems, silos and lots of automated machinery. Our client are looking for an engineer who can change bearings, gearboxes, comfortable fault finding on various mechanical systems, working on pneumatics, and has experience working in a workshop.

-            Experience working in a manufacturing enviroment - industrial

-            Happy to work on a variety of mechanical systems

-            Comfortable changing bearings, gearboxes, pneumatics

-            A good team player happy to work in a close knit team
