Hours: Full-Time, 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and every second Saturday

We're looking for a dedicated yard manager to oversee daily operations in our Edinburgh yard, ensuring smooth workflow, stock control, and health and safety compliance.

What you'll do:
Manage and coordinate yard operations, ensuring efficiency and organisation.
Oversee the loading, unloading, and storage of materials.
Maintain stock levels, conduct inventory checks, and monitor supplies.
Lead and supervise the yard team, ensuring high performance and motivation.
Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and drivers to ensure smooth logistics.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in a yard manager or supervisory role.
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Knowledge of stock management and logistics.
Forklift license and experience operating machinery is desirable.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
A proactive attitude with a strong focus on health and safety.
