1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant

A Primary School in the Hodgehill area are seeking two experienced, dedicated and passionate SEN Learning Support Assistant's.

We are on the lookout for two dedicated and passionate SEN Learning Support Assistants to join one of our partner schools on a long-term basis. You will play a vital role in supporting two children on a 1:1 basis as they progress through their key stages.

Your day will be split into two, in the mornings you will be working in Yr1 supporting a child who has Autism and in the afternoon, you will be in Yr 2 supporting a little girl who has Down Syndrome and Autism. Working with children who have SEN has its challenges so the school are looking for someone who is committed, and are looking for someone who has patience, is experienced and will be able to help them engage in their learning, personal care may also be needed. This is a rewarding opportunity to be able to create such a positive impact on young children's lives regardless of their differences and abilities in life.

About you -

We are looking for someone who:

* Is patient, empathetic and committed to supporting children who have SEN.

* Has excellent communication skills.

* Can remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing needs.

* Is willing to give personal care, if needed.

* Has experience working 1:1 with children who have SEN.

* Proof of previous work history.

* Have worked on a 1:1 basis
