About the Role

As Technical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving the company's quality standards. This is a hands-on position, working closely with production teams to ensure compliance with food safety and quality regulations, driving best practices across the factory floor. You will be responsible for:

* Leading quality assurance initiatives and managing compliance with food safety standards (e.g., BRC, HACCP).

* Collaborating with production teams to ensure quality is embedded in day-to-day operations.

* Investigating and resolving quality issues, implementing corrective and preventative actions.

* Training and supporting staff on quality standards and processes.

* Preparing for and leading audits from both internal and external stakeholders.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in quality management within the UK food manufacturing industry. Key attributes include:

* A solid understanding of food safety standards and legislation (BRC, HACCP).

* Strong hands-on experience working within a production environment.

* Experience in a technical management position within food manufacturing.

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively liaise with production teams and other stakeholders.

* A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
