CNC Programmer / Setter required for a manufacturer based in Letchworth.
They are looking for CNC programmer who worked in wood industry.
Monday to Thursday 08.00 a.m. to 16.30 and Friday 08.00 to 16.00
Pay rate £16-£18ph depending on experience.
Main Duties:
· To produce/programme CNC programmes for router machines - using Alpha Cam software mainly on MDF/chipboard - wood material.
· To aid purchasing and estimating with sheet yields and run times as requested.
· To produce programming documents and drawings to aid the machine room operatives.
· To verify parts/programmes to drawings with machine setters/operators.
· To assist operatives with additional info regarding drawings.
· To carry out the setting up of the CNC router cell to achieve maximum output and quality.
· To liaise with the Production Manager and CNC Supervisor to help set priorities/targets for the night shift.
· To be aware of health and safety.
· As and when directed by a Manager or a Supervisor, undertake any other tasks set
