About The Role

It's an exciting opportunity to join a small friendly team of professionals and work alongside our Groundworks Contracts Manager, learning and gaining experience of that role.

Responsibilities & Duties

* Produce and maintain registers for RAMs

* Review and write simple programmes

* Site setting out where applicable

* Raising RFIs

* Taking and circulating meeting minutes

* Collation of site drawings and maintaining register

* Updating site specific software (Siteplex)

* Weekly labour and plant return for each live site

* Liaising with Contracts Manager to ensure that Labour and plant are allocated to the correct contract

About You

* Understanding of Groundwork Construction Processes or willingness to learn, including drainage, concrete works (floors slabs, formwork), foundation services, deep excavations, simple cut & fill, and water control onsite

* Pro-active, self-motivated with a track-record of team-work

* Ability to take initiative and work with colleagues & clients to resolve problems

* Familiarity with Excel, Outlook and Word, and generally computer literate

* Good time management & ability to plan & work to deadlines

Licence/Certification:

* HNC or NVQ 5 qualification or above ideally within the construction field

* Driving Licence

Working hours: Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm
