Overview of the Role

Are you ready to take the lead in managing a renowned retail destination, in the largest city in Kent? The Mall Maidstone is seeking a dynamic and innovative Centre Manager to direct and enhance the commercial profitability and performance of the site. Working directly for the landlord, Capital & Regional, you will play a key role in delivering the highest standards of customer satisfaction, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Your responsibilities will be:

* Engaging with internal & external stakeholders of the business, including tenants, the local community, and more.

* Ensuring the site runs operationally smooth, leading the onsite team & overseeing contractors in hard & soft services, with the constant inclusion of all health & safety compliance.

* Explore possible avenues for increasing ancillary income onsite, through commercialisation and other initiatives.

This role offers the opportunity to:

* Make an on the ground difference, creating and maintaining relationships with tenants & the local stakeholders.

* Join the shopping centre sector with uncapped future potential, or if you're already within the sector, move over to work directly for a landlord.

The right candidate will be:

* Experienced in shopping centre management & within senior retail positions.

* Available to work the occasional weekend, such as when there are important onsite events or important stakeholder meetings.

* Commercially minded, looking for opportunities to increase revenue onsite.
