Job Title: ACT Pharmacy Technician (Accuracy Checking)

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and qualified ACT Pharmacy Technician to join our clients outpatient pharmacy team at a well-established NHS Hospital local to Sunderland. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced NHS candidates and newly registered ACT Pharmacy Technicians looking to make a difference in patient care, particularly in accuracy checking.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform accuracy checking of dispensed prescriptions within the outpatient pharmacy setting.
Ensure medications are dispensed correctly and meet NHS standards.
Work collaboratively with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Assist with stock management and other pharmacy-related duties as required.

Requirements:

Qualification: Must be a qualified ACT Pharmacy Technician.
Experience: NHS hospital experience is not required. Community Pharmacy experience and newly registered ACTs are welcome.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accuracy checks efficiently.
Excellent communication and team-working skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Shift Pattern:

Monday - Thursday: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
Friday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Part-time applicants must be able to commit to a minimum of 3 days per week, including Fridays.

Hourly Rate:

£17 - £25 per hour (paid via umbrella company)

Contract Duration:

Immediate start, with a minimum commitment of 6 months minimum.
