Project Engineer / Civils CRE - Rail Infrastructure Projects

Are you an experienced Project Engineer or Civils CRE with a passion for rail infrastructure? Join a forward-thinking company dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions in the railway sector.

My client specialise in providing high-quality services across the rail infrastructure sector. There expertise spans civil engineering, electrical services, signalling, and more, ensuring the successful delivery of projects from concept to completion.

I am looking for a skilled Project Engineer / Civils CRE to oversee and manage civil engineering activities on rail infrastructure projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of projects, working alongside Senior Project Managers and ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the civil engineering delivery on rail infrastructure projects, including track works, station upgrades, maintenance, troughing ducting, buried direct routes, walkways, crossings and more.

* Oversee site activities, coordinating with contractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

* Act as the Civils CRE (Contractor Responsible Engineer), ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

* Develop and manage / assist with project plans, budgets, and schedules.

* Conduct risk assessments and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.

* Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.

* Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

* Previous experience in a similar Project Engineer or Civils CRE role within the rail industry.

* Strong knowledge of rail infrastructure, construction methodologies, and relevant legislation.

* Ability to lead teams, manage multiple stakeholders, and resolve project issues efficiently.
