Youth Mentor / Deputy Manager - Children's Residential Care
Location: Swadlincote
Salary: £37,792 per year (plus £60 per sleep shift, based on 8 per month)
Hours: 07:30 am - 11:00 pm, rolling rota + sleep shifts
Contract: Full-time

Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a real impact? Do you have experience in a Children's Home and the drive to guide and inspire? Our client is seeking dedicated Youth Mentors / Deputy Managers to help create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive.

The Role:

As a Deputy Manager, you will:

* Support young people with their safety, health, and education.

* Lead by example, fostering trust and positive relationships.

* Work alongside care staff, ensuring high-quality support.

* Manage the home in the absence of the Registered Manager.

* Ensure compliance with Ofsted and Quality Care Standards.

What We're Looking For:

* Experience in a Children's Home or similar setting.

* Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care (or working towards it).

* Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and a compassionate approach.

* Other: Full UK/EU manual driving licence & enhanced DBS check required.
