Job Title: KS2 Primary Teacher Location: Longsight, M13 Position: Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher Type of Work: Full-time, Class Teacher (planning, preparation, marking, parent evenings, etc.) Start Date: January 25, 2025 Contract Type: Temporary, with potential for extension or permanent placement Hours: 8:30 am 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only) Rate of Pay: GBP160+ per day pay to scale About the School: Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated KS2 Primary Teacher for a primary school located in the vibrant community of Longsight, M13. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Key Stage 2 students. Prepare resources, mark assignments, and track student progress to promote academic success. Participate in parent evenings and collaborate with the school community to support student development. Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment for all students. Experience, Training, and Qualifications: Required: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in Key Stage 2 within the UK. Training: Up-to-date safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but can be provided). Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible for this role, candidates must: Have the Right to Work in the UK. Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service (or be willing to apply for one). Provide two professional child-related references covering at least the last two years.
