Your new companyA scaling IT Consultancy is seeking a qualified Accountant to join their scale-up business as a Financial Controller. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.Your new role

• Manage the entire billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
• Monitor cash flow, forecast future trends, and implement strategies to optimise liquidity.
• Analyse expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to control costs effectively.
• Contribute to revenue growth by providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Developing and managing annual budgets, tracking performance against targets and making necessary adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and laws.

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Ability to work in a growing and ever-changing sector
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero).
• A solid understanding of financial principles and best practices.
