Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the garden centre.

Provide exceptional customer service and expert gardening advice.

Supervise and motivate staff, ensuring a high level of performance and morale.

Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stock control.

Ensure the garden centre is well-maintained, visually appealing, and safe for customers and staff.

Assist in planning and executing promotional activities and events.

Monitor sales performance and contribute to achieving financial targets.

Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

Collaborate with the Garden Centre Manager to implement business strategies and improvements.

Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience in a retail or garden centre environment.

Proficiency in using computer systems and point of sale (POS) software.
