What you'll be doing...

• Are you the type who gets excited about variance analysis while your friends are talking about their weekend? Perfect. We need you.
• The gig: We're after a qualified accountant to be our financial grown-up. Someone who can translate numbers into actual business decisions without putting everyone to sleep in the process.
• It would be great if you understand the education sector's funding and policy frameworks, or at least have worked in one of those more complex organisations where the right person to ask a question of isn't always obvious and so you might have to speak to a few people!

What you'll need to offer...

• Hold a CCAB qualification (because we need someone who's suffered through professional exams) so that will be ACA or CIMA or CIPFA of ACCA we could consider someone who is QBE with the right experience too
• Have a proven track record in strategic financial planning (i.e., you've successfully told senior people "no" the right way without getting their backs up)
• Possess advanced Excel skills (we're talking vlookups in your sleep)
• Translate financial complexities into English that normal humans understand
• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail
