Our clients are hoping to welcome a friendly new team member to join them on their transport desk. As they offer a service like no other, with 60 years of combined experience in the haulage business, they have a thing or two they'd be happy to teach you. You will be provided with full training and support from the other members located in their Feltham office. Road Transport Coordinator - Job responsibilities

Respond to telephone & email requests and follow up enquiries.
Inputting new information and orders onto database.
Obtaining quotes, confirming and communicating orders, raising proforma invoices.
Monitoring, updating and solving issues with orders.
Chasing new business and finding new suppliers.
Ad hoc filing and administration.

Road Transport Coordinator - Job Requirements

Good work ethic, flexible with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn
Experience/ knowledge of the Road Transport industry
Confident and professional telephone manner
Basic IT skills with the ability to type professional emails
Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team
Geographical knowledge of the UK
Additional IT skills
Sales skills
Knowledge of goods vehicle sizes and types

Road Transport Coordinator - Job Remunerations

Salary £30,000 - £34,000
Mon - Fri 8:00 - 18:00 (8:00 - 16:00 once in every 4 weeks)
Discretionary quarterly bonus after 6 months
Discretionary Xmas bonus of 1 weeks' additional salary
