We are working with an education provider in the Merseyside area who are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Tutor to join their team.

The role is a permanent full-time role, comprising of 38.75 hours per week (8:00am until 4:30pm, with a 3:15pm finish on Fridays) and you would be based at the education provider's centre in the Merseyside area, where you would be asked to train Engineering apprentices on their hands-on machining (ie. milling/turning) skills in the workshop, and also do some CAD and engineering theory teaching in the classroom.

The starting salary for this position is up to £35,000 per annum, and the client would be willing to put you through pay for a teaching qualification if you do not have one already. The package also includes a pension, a health/life plan, and 38 days paid holiday (including statutory holidays such as Bank Holidays).

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-A level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification
-Good experience of Machining

Please note that the education provider can consider skilled industry candidates who are looking to move into training, and would be able to assist them with achieving their teaching/assessment qualifications on the job.
