They are one of the UK's largest Building Societies, set up to help people create a better future by providing a good place for people's savings and helping people own their own home. Their core Mortgage and Savings platform is developed internally and is supported in house alongside other applications.

The Role

We are seeking talented Engineers with a strong background working in the Cloud Platform space, particularly within Azure, to join an experienced team of Cloud Platform Engineers. You will design, build, and configure Azure projects, including builds, migrations, and modernisations, with a strong focus on Linux OS and workload deployment and management. Working within a Scaled Agile framework you will be responsible for delivering improvements and maintaining existing cloud solutions, while working with your stakeholders to deliver and support vital work to improve the experience of our customers and colleagues.

What Will You Be Doing?

- Review designs, develop, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions, predominately in Azure.
- Working within an scaled Agile framework
- Working alongside architecture on the implementation of cloud-native applications and services.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like bicep, Powershell, Yamal, Python etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software and data engineering teams, and security, to ensure seamless cloud integration and performance optimisation.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and fault tolerance of cloud services.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay current with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions
- Working with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Cloud monitoring, logging, and alert tools (e.g Azure monitor, Azure alerts).

Salary & Benefits

There is a very competitive package with a starting salary of c£60,000, alongside 25 days standard annual leave + bank holidays + rising 1 day per year of service to a maximum of 30 days. There's an 10% Pension contribution and an annual Bonus.
