Mane are looking for an experienced Contracts Engineer to joint their client, a leading M&E contractor in their Bishop's Stortford office.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

City & Guilds in Electrical Installation / NVQ Level 3
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing certification
Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
Several years of experience as a Site Supervisor
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee all projects within assigned supervision
Deliver projects within established budget constraints
Ensure continuous customer and client satisfaction
Manage daily allocation of labour, materials, and equipment to optimize efficiency
Ensure all work meets required standards
MAIN TASKS:

Consistently execute projects in alignment with the defined scope of work
Maintain regular communication with site project management and attend meetings as needed
Prepare risk assessments and method statements before work begins
Conduct regular reviews of labor and resources with the Contracts Manager
Coordinate regularly with the Site Supervisor regarding workload and labor needs
Monitor the quality of installations consistently
Oversee on-site safety standards and report on housekeeping practices
Manage daily operations of on-site staff, subcontractors, and apprentices
Schedule tasks to maximize workforce productivity
Ensure all personnel are qualified for their assigned duties
Communicate any training needs to the Contracts Manager
Ensure all activities align with CMS requirements
Continuously seek to enhance service quality for clients by recommending improvements to current systems
Take responsibility for personal health, safety, and environmental impact
