Niyaa People are delighted to be recruiting for an Assistant Director of Strategic Assets on a permanent basis, for a Housing Association in the West Midlands.As the Assistant Director of Strategic Assets, you will report into the Director and oversee a team including 2 Heads of Service in the Asset Strategy division. Assistant Director of Strategic Assets duties:

• Drive the overall strategy for investment of existing assets
• Develop the long term strategy for the groups assets, recognising the need to balance investment
• Oversee their stock portfolio of residential units, care and support, commercial and garages
• Ensure the data infrastrucure and data governance are fit for purpose
• Oversee the asset disposal programme
• Drive forward the sustainability agenda, whilst developing the decarbonisation and net zero programme

To succeed as the Assistant Director of Strategic Assets, you need:

• Professional qualfiication in a building or related subject
• Detailed understanding of asset based legal, operational and strategic management issues
• Understanding of contract and procurement processes
• Able to conduct business modelling and financial appraisals
