Large Format Print Finisher

For over 30 years, Omni have worked extensively with galleries, museums and artists. We produce limited editions and one-off original artworks for internationally renowned artists and institutions, and we are regularly called on to help manage some of the most ambitious print-based works in the arts. Omni also covers areas of branding and visual display for major corporate clients, architects, event organisers and high-end fashion retailers.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Print Finisher to join our team. As well as working closely with the rest of the finishing department you will be collaborating with the Project Managers and Production team, seeing jobs through to completion. For the right person, there's potential for the position to grow through training, but initially responsibilities include:

* Hand finishing of a wide variety of printed and other display material, including mounting, trimming, framing and weeding

* Operation of CNC cutting machine (training provided)

* Operation of mounting, sealing and laminating machines

* Maintaining all finishing equipment

* Ensuring that all work goes out finished & packed to the highest standard

* Liaising with the Production team and Project managers to cross check aspects such as size and print quality.

* Assistance with on-site installations

Essential:

* Experience in large format print finishing, mounting, laminating

* High level of technical and creative understanding

* Able to work to strict deadlines, on your own initiative and as part of a team.

* Willingness to learn and progres

Preferable:

* Experience of CNC cutting machines (training provided)

* Knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

* Clean UK driving license.

Salary negotiable dependent on experience
Full-time, 5 days a week. Some overtime required
