Senior Accountant (Part-Time, 3 days per week) – 12-Month Contract  Are you a hands-on finance professional looking for an exciting opportunity in the entertainment industry? We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support the finance team of a high-profile live events production on a 12-month, part-time basis (3 days per week).  About the RoleReporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the finance function, contributing to reporting, audits, budgeting, and financial analysis. This is a varied role, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can hit the ground running.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the UK finance function to ensure alignment with financial and strategic objectives.
  • Assist with the annual year-end audit and prepare statutory accounts for legal entities.
  • Support the preparation of weekly consolidated management accounts and KPIs.
  • Perform weekly and monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Establish and develop relationships with shareholders, internal, and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, increase efficiency, and improve internal controls.
  • Conduct data analysis to provide valuable insights into the business.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Undertake other ad-hoc duties as required.
  About You:Essential
  • Qualified or qualified by experience (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with at least 2+ years in a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience in a finance role, with strong audit experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with non-finance professionals.
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong IT skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and work proactively.
  • Experience working in a high-transaction industry.
  Desirable
  • Experience using VISMA or RILLION.
  • Knowledge of tax computations and Theatre Tax Relief.
  • Passion for music, live events, or the entertainment industry.
  • Experience in the music, entertainment, or food & beverage sector.
