A well-established, industry leading, Surveying Practice that have been operating for over 200 years, are seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join their team of 100 staff, due to continued growth. The Senior Building Surveyor will be completing a full range of building surveying services on both residential and commercial projects with a real mix of professional & project work. Clients include; local authorities, commercial clients, private organisations, PFI & Building Managers and Public Sectors. It is envisaged that the Senior Building Surveyor will operate from the Birmingham office, across sites and from home as required.

• Conduct building surveys, inspections, and prepare reports.
• Manage projects, ensuring compliance with budgets, timelines, and regulations.
• Provide advice on building regulations, planning, and safety standards.
• Supervise junior staff and collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Administer contracts, manage disputes, and oversee refurbishments or repairs.
• Ensure statutory compliance and advise on conservation and renovation projects.

• Relevant degree / qualification
• Minimum of 4 years' building surveying experience
• Able to commute to Birmingham twice a week
• MRICS qualified
• Good tenure with private practice experience
