Location: Based at our Templepatrick depot, covering Belfast and Northern Ireland so flexible of location.

Working hours: 40 hours a week

About the role

idverde is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead and manage all aspects of our arboricultural operations in the South East region. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Arborist looking to transition into management, or for an experienced manager to further develop a successful, growing service.

In this role, you will take full responsibility for the financial performance, quality, and safety of the arboricultural division, ensuring the efficient delivery of existing contracts while focusing on business development. You'll also play a key role in driving growth across both the public and private sectors by building strong client relationships and working closely with the regional Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organise the operations of an all-subcontracting workforce
  • Oversee the financial performance, ensuring contracts are delivered efficiently and profitably
  • Ensure compliance with arboricultural standards and safety regulations
  • Develop business opportunities and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Work closely with a team of 5 Arborists and an administrator responsible for processing payments

Requirements:

  • Strong background in arborist compliance and operational management
  • Experience in business development and client relationship management
  • Ambition to move into a management role (if currently in a technical position)
  • Proven ability to manage contracts and resources effectively
