Some of the activities you’ll have opportunity to be involved with include:

• Working on & leading the delivery major technical projects and schemes throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial feasibility to construction and commissioning

• Preparation and execution of detailed electrical engineering designs and calculations

• Producing business cases, technical specifications, drawings and schedules

• Working closely and collaboratively with maintenance and operations teams

• Preparation of technical documents and reports

• Risk and Asset management

It’s a Monday-Friday role, though at times there may be a requirement to work out of hours to support outage or breakdown activities. We can offer you flexibility in terms of owing you time back on these occasions. After all, we understand the need for a work/life balance.

Who we're looking for

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, committed and interested in pursuing an exciting and rewarding career in electrical engineering, within the power generation industry.

You’ll need to have or be due to complete a degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.

You’ll possess excellent problem-solving skills, have an ability to communicate, plan and prioritise effectively; and have a keen focus on quality and detail in everything you do.

Experience in using power system analysis software such as DIgSilent or equivalent would be an advantage.
