Technical Engineer

£32,000, Corby, Monday to Friday Core Hours 8:00am-5:00pm, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Xmas Party, Xmas Shutdown, Pension, Canteen, Parking, Training and development available, Annual Bonus Scheme

Due to continued success and rapid expansion plans, our client who are a leading UK Manufacturing company in their field have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Engineer to join their Corby based site. You will provide daily support to different departments within the company and report directly to the Engineering Manager and Technical Lead.

Role:

Deal directly with sales teams to receive, produce, and interpret customer orders
Work with 2D & 3D AutoCAD
Undertake production planning activities
Attend monthly meetings
Coding where needed
Ability to problem solve within the company
Assisting with customer orders and procurement
Ensuring product meets customer specificationsRequirements:

AutoCAD/Solidworks knowledge
Experience in working within manaufacturing
Have excellent customer service experience and the ability to undertake cost negotiation with both customers and suppliers.
Hold Engineering qualifications including Level 3 Engineering.We would expect the successful Technical Engineer to be able to demonstrate, a good working knowledge of CAD, have excellent communication skills, and be able to educate others. Working directly with the Technical Lead and Engineering Manager, as well as other departments. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if have worked within engineering, design or mechanical engineering.

Salary: £32,000 per annum
