CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator
Location: Ely, Cambridge

Salary: £17-£21ph

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled 5-Axis CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our team. This role requires expertise in CAD/CAM systems, a strong background in 5-axis programming, and flexibility to meet tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and experience working with complex drawings and castings.
Key Responsibilities:

Program, set, and operate 5-axis CNC machines for precision components in the motorsports industry.
Utilize CAD/CAM software, preferably Hypermill (training can be provided if necessary).
Interpret complex engineering drawings to create accurate programs and setups.
Design and manufacture simple fixtures as required for efficient production.
Maintain accurate work documentation, including logging times in our ERP system to support job profitability and ISO 9001 compliance.
Requirements:

Proven experience in 5-axis CNC programming and machining.
Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software; Hypermill experience is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings accurately.
Prior experience with castings is an advantage.
Flexibility to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
