Position: Multi-Modal Freight Forwarder
Location: Southampton
Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 (APPROX)
Salary: up to £30,000

We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi-Modal Freight Forwarder to join a well-established team in Southampton. Our client specialises in International Freight Management, including air, sea and road movements and providing bonded warehousing solutions. This role would suit a candidate passionate about logistics and who enjoys working in a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Multi-Modal Freight Forwarding operations and experience dealing with sea freight imports, import regulations, and customs clearance procedures.

Your key responsibilities as a Multi-Modal Freight Forwarder:

Complete start-to-finish consignments by air, sea and road
Create bookings from the origin
Provide freight rates, quotes and pricing solutions for customers
Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, merchant haulage and various carriers
Track and update delivery statutes in the company's system and provide regular updates to clients
Completion of customs procedures
Ensure compliance with import regulations and trade compliance laws
Gaining a full understanding of our Bonded warehouse operation and inbound logisticsBenefits:
