An esteemed and expanding independent consultancy with offices globally, are currently seeking a SeniorIT Technician / IT Support Specialist to join their busy service desk team. You will join a team providing IT services to the company’s international group of offices.

As the SeniorIT Support Engineer / Senior IT Technician you will provide both 1st and 2nd line technical support to local and remote users with common software packages and later with the in-house database system. The office systems for the UK and each International office are currently being migrated to Microsoft’s Azure services.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor service desk for IT issues by reviewing incoming tickets and reviewing progress.
• SeniorIT Technician tasked with supporting roll out of new applications.
• Installation and configuration of computer hardware O/S and applications.
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
• Software deployment and updates, hardware replacement, managing backups
• Troubleshooting, migration to and management of online services i.e. SharePoint, Teams, Azure and Exchange.

Key Skills:

• Experience of working within a network/IT field.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Servers 2012 R2, 2019, 2022
• The IT Support Specialist will be confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
• Managing service desk requests through help desk systems.
• Proven knowledge of Windows, AD, Group Policies, Antivirus and Network Administration

Desirable:

• SharePoint
• MS Azure
• PowerShell scripting technology

** Ideally, you will reside locally and hold a full driver’s license and have access to a vehicle.
