Our client, a leading consultancy firm in Birmingham, is seeking a Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. The role involves managing costs, contracts, and providing detailed cost analyses from project inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project budgets.
Manage contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Perform risk assessments and offer cost-related advice to clients.
Prepare and present detailed reports to clients and stakeholders.
Oversee post-contract services, including cost control, valuation of work, and final accounts.

Qualifications and Experience:

Chartered status with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy environment.
Strong understanding of cost management, contract administration, and project management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
