Job Advertisement: Teaching Assistant with SEN Experience

Location: Dronfield (S18 area)

Position: Teaching Assistant for Year 1 Class

Start Date: Week commencing 31st March 2025

Schedule:

Tuesday: Morning only
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: All dayDuration: Long-term basis until the end of the academic year.

Break: 2 weeks for Easter holidays, returning on Monday 21st April 2025

Responsibilities:

Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities
Assisting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to ensure they receive tailored support
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Monitoring and recording students' progress and providing feedback
Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a safe environmentSkills Required:

Experience working with children with SEN
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
