About the Role:We are excited to offer an opportunity within our
Knowsley Moving Forward Together service for an
IPS Employment Specialist, working within the
Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model. In this role, you will play a key part in helping people with mental health needs secure meaningful and fulfilling employment.As an IPS Employment Specialist, you will work collaboratively with clinicians, employers, and external agencies to identify employment opportunities that match each individual's preferences, and support them in maintaining employment as part of their recovery journey. Your role will have a genuine, transformative impact on people's lives by helping them achieve their employment goals.You will be based with up to two clinical teams in
Knowsley and provide appointments both in the community and at our community base in
Huyton.

About You:We are seeking someone with experience supporting individuals with a range of mental health needs who is dedicated to empowering people to overcome barriers and achieve their goals.The ideal candidate will have experience helping individuals reach their employment aspirations, alongside the ability to engage with employers to explore job opportunities and promote mental health awareness and well-being in the workplace.Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is an understanding of the complex and sensitive issues related to mental health needs. You should be able to manage your workload effectively to meet the demands of a varied caseload and demonstrate good IT skills for performing all relevant administrative tasks that support service delivery.
