We're hiring for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Hyde.
In this role, you'll be responsible for carrying out a variety of electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks across the site, ensuring equipment runs efficiently and downtime is minimised.

* Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm (with some flexibility available)

What will you be doing as a Maintenance Engineer?
* Carrying out both electrical and mechanical maintenance across the site
* Servicing and repairing equipment such as overhead cranes, screw conveyors, fillers, metal detectors, and single-head weighers
* Operating basic tools such as drills and grinders to carry out maintenance tasks
* Attending management meetings to provide updates and contribute to maintenance planning
* Responding to breakdowns and prioritising repairs to reduce downtime
* Supporting the wider team in maintaining a safe and efficient production environment
What do you need?
* Previous experience in a similar multi-skilled maintenance role
* Electrical certification (minimum 16th Edition)
* Full UK driving licence
* Previous experience working in a food production or manufacturing environment (desirable)
