ROBERT WALTERS - FINANCE MANAGER (4 DAYS ON SITE)

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Location: Leicestershire

Our client, a leading logistics business, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing and optimising financial processes and results. The successful candidate will have the chance to immerse themselves in the business, working closely with a talented team of sales and operational leaders. This is a hands-on finance role that requires a professional, committed, innovative and energetic approach.

What you'll do:

• Oversee the day-to-day finance department functions
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial models for budgeting and forecasting
• Perform financial analysis to provide insight into financial performance drivers/trends
• Business partner with the sales and site operational teams to provide an accurate view of company performance
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Supervise and mentor a small finance team

What you bring:

• Qualified or nearly qualified accountant through CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of month end processes, financial planning, budgeting, and analysis
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Track record of delivering improvements in financial administration and control processes
• Good team management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
