Premier Recruitment Group is pleased to be partnering with a leading business based in Erith, Kent to recruit for a forward thinking Commercial Sales Representative to join their team. Very interesting and varied role. This is full time and permanent position.

Salary: £30,000 pa + commission

Shift: Monday to Friday AM - PM

Holidays: 20 days + 8 BH (increasing with years in the company)

We are looking for a self-motivated and confident Commercial Sales Representative individual who is comfortable engaging with people both on the phone and face-to-face. The primary focus of this role is to identify and develop new business opportunities, build strong relationships with both new and existing customers, and successfully convert prospects into loyal, buying customers.

Commercial Sales Representative job description :

• Work closely with customers to build long-term business relationships.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth transactions and maximise sales opportunities.
• Manage and maintain a portfolio of customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Proactively identify and convert new business opportunities, including opening new accounts.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to increase revenue and margin.
• Process sales orders efficiently using industry-specific software.
• Develop a deep understanding of the company's full product range,
• Some travel may be required for client meetings and business development.
• Responsible for managing customer accounts and ensuring a high level of service.
• Handling sales transactions and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• No direct budget responsibility but expected to maximise revenue and profit margins through effective sales strategies.

Commercial Sales Representative person specification:

• GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and listening skills.
• 1 year of sales experience (preferred).
• Experience in motor, trade, transport, or a related industry is beneficial but not essential.
• Highly motivated, confident, and friendly personality.
• Full driving licence required.
