Description

A Commercial Finance Analyst will:

• Annual Business Plan (ABP) & Quarterly Forecasts (QF)

  • Collaborate with commercial teams.
  • Report on projected customer/channel gross margins.
  • Analyse projected customer/channel gross margins.
  • Submit annual business plans using Kantar Xtel software.
  • Submit quarterly business plans using Kantar Xtel software.

• Decision Support

  • Provide business decision support.
  • Communicate Customer & Product profitability information.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis.
  • Provide relevant analysis to support business decisions.

• Period & Quarterly Close

  • Generate insights based on customer-level gross margin.
  • Conduct variance analysis for the business unit.
  • Work with Sales teams to understand drivers of customer performance.
  • Work with Commercial teams to understand drivers of customer performance.
  • Influence drivers of customer performance.

Profile

A Commercial Finance Analyst will have:

• Fluent in English
• 1-3 years in a management accounting position
• FMCG exposure with extensive experience working with Commercial teams
• Advanced Excel with strong modelling and analysis skills
• University Degree in business management or finance (preferred)
• Studying towards a finance qualification
• Organised
• Able to meet deadlines
• Experience of Return on Investment modelling
• Tenacity and common sense
• Initiative and drive to develop themselves and the business
