This role is for a Year End Financial Accountant who will be responsible for producing the year-end financial accounts. The successful candidate will also lead the accounting and finance team in a housing organisation.

Description

Role:

• Preparation of statutory accounts and liaising with external auditors
• Ensuring the accuracy of the balance sheet
• Preparing audit working papers and assisting with accruals, prepayments, and Trial Balances
• Knowledge of Management Accounts / Business Plans is desirable but not essential

Profile

A successful Year End Financial Accountant should have:

• Experience in Year-End Accounts within a Housing Association
• Qualified or qualified by experience
• Technically proficient with the ability to work independently
• Strong initiative, curiosity, and drive, with the ability to work to deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
• Highly numerate and computer literate, with strong Excel skills
