TimePlan Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher for a full-time maternity cover role at a highly regarded school just outside Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school community, teaching motivated students and making a lasting impact on their academic journey.

Role Overview:

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning within the department, working closely with colleagues to provide exceptional support to students. This position is ideal for an experienced Maths teacher looking for a new challenge or someone keen to step into a full-time role to gain further experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering high-quality Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
Planning, preparing, and marking student work in line with the school's curriculum.
Supporting and motivating students to achieve their full potential in Mathematics.
Monitoring student progress and providing feedback on their development.
Collaborating with other teaching staff to ensure a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Contributing to the school's extra-curricular activities and Maths-related initiatives.
Participating in regular staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 is a bonus but not essential).
Passionate about creating an inspiring and engaging learning environment for students.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
