Baker Recruitment Group are pleased to be working alongside our client based in WF14. Due to continued business growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit Multi Skilled Operator with Counterbalance license to join this busy operation.

Shift pattern is as follows:

Monday to Friday

10.00pm - 06.00am

Pay: £15.23ph

The multi skilled operative's main responsibility is to provide holiday and absence cover for various positions within the production department along with continuous improvement initiatives.

As a minimum the role will be trained to cover the inspector role on various of the production lines along with the hanger operative position. It could also include Relief Inspector, Warehouse Assistant and Warehouse Leader.

Main responsibilities - General

Ensure you are complying with all Health & Safety regulations, policies and procedures, including PPE requirements.

Inform the Shift Manager of problems and operational concerns; and participate in troubleshooting and problem resolutions within your working environment.

Troubleshoot issues, call, and support maintenance.

Ensure the equipment is handed over to the operative on the next shift in the correct condition with information from the shift on maintenance, issues etc.

Safety

Ensure you comply with group Health & Safety policies.

Demand a clean and safe working environment for the line and surrounding area.

Promote near miss reporting.

Skills

FLT License (ITTSAR/BRITTOP Approved) not in-house - Counterbalance

Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience preferred.

Excellent attitude

Must be detail oriented.

Understanding of production and plant processes.

Basic engineering knowledge.

Communicate effectively clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.

Ability to respond quickly and efficiently to problems that happen in a fast-paced production environment.

Flexible and adaptable.
