About the Role

Tradewind are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistant to work within a supportive school environment. You will play a pivotal role in helping students manage their behaviour, develop positive strategies, and achieve success in their learning journey. This is a full-time position ideal for those looking to make a real impact in education.

Key Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with behavioural and emotional challenges.
Implement and monitor behaviour management plans, ensuring students feel supported and valued.
Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to promote positive outcomes for students.
Assist in creating an inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.

What We're Looking For

Experience working with children or young people with behavioral needs (school-based experience is desirable).
Knowledge of behavior management strategies, including de-escalation techniques.
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively with staff and families.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
