Responsibilities 

Lead and support major commercial confrontational negotiation activity
Drive commercial approaches in departments overcoming reluctance
Fully up to date with public procurement requirements
Understand commercial risk and present solutions to stakeholders
Support and utilise analysis and liaise with Category Management and Procurement
Motivation and energy for driving supply transformation and innovation
Provide assurance agreements reviewed provide Value for Money
Be responsible and accountable for performance and savings
Capture and share lessons learned from commercial activity

Requirements 

MCIPS or Equivalent
Recent public sector experience in large and complex environment
On site requirement min 2 days per week
Experience working in a housing association or council
Worked extensively in commercial role, taking personal responsibility

Contract 

Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend 
PAYE via Umbrella 
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (onsite requirement 2 days per week
