A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join a well-established company based in Newbury. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, with close collaboration with the Director of Finance and Operations.

With a focus on tax-related accounting duties, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including financial and management accounts, with a strong emphasis on tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and assist with budgeting processes
Assist in the preparation of management accounts
Maintain a solid understanding of VAT rules and VAT accounting
Administer payroll in accordance with relevant legislation
Ensure compliance with charity-related financial regulations
Assisting with financial year end procedures
Maintain the fixed asset register
Prepare cashflow statements
Complete statutory returns
Help facilitate the financial audit
Responding to any HMRC queries which may arise in respect of VATRequirements:

Part-qualified or qualified by experience Accountant with a focus on tax
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, VAT, and payroll administrationBenefits:
