Design Engineer/ Draughts Person

Location: Bristol, Bath, and Surrounding Areas
Salary: Circa £35,000 per year (DOE)

Design Engineer/Draughtsman sought to join dynamic drawing office team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals across sales, design, production, and site departments, contributing to a diverse range of steelwork and metalwork projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Creating detailed drawings that meet client specifications, comply with regulations, and ensure structural integrity.

* Producing fabrication drawings for onsite manufacturing in the company's factory.

* Collaborating with multiple departments to ensure designs are practical and coordinated.

* Conducting site surveys and meeting clients (company vehicles provided for travel).

* Taking full ownership of exciting projects from concept to completion.

What We're Looking For:

* Experience: Time served in design/drawing within the structural steelwork and metalwork industry.

* Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and Advance Steel is a big plus (other CAD experience welcome - training provided if needed).

* Attention to Detail: Precision is key when delivering drawings for clients and workshop fabrication.

* Communication: A team player with strong, clear communication skills to liaise across departments.

* Driving Licence: A full driving licence is essential for site visits.
